Raising the Social Security Retirement Age

In a recent interview, U.S. House Minority Leader John Boehner suggests that raising the Social Security retirement age to 70 will help avoid a collapse in the entitlement system.

Boehner also discusses what he perceives as a brewing political rebellion, the inadequacy of financial reform legislation, and healthcare reform.

Boehner would replace the current House speaker, Nancy Pelosi, should Republicans manage to regain a majority in the House this coming November.
