I am wondering what makes this product unique or noteworthy other than the fact that the company providing it is MetLife?
There is such a lack of marketing material that one is left wondering what features are in this variable annuity.
The expense structure seems middle of the road and the surrender charge schedule seems average. The mutual fund offerings are what they are, and there is of course plently of historical performance data available for what it is worth.
Other companies seem to provide some marketing material for their VAs--even if it is limited.
MetLife would do well to consider offering some basic product feature highlight material for non financial advisors.
